Supportive Oligonucleotide Technique is available here in Nashville For Lyme Disease and Other Bacterial and Viral Infections.
What is SOT Therapy? SOT is a highly effective and individualized therapy that aids the body in overcoming bacterial infections such as Lyme disease and viral infections such as HIV, Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV), hepatitis, and Epstein Barr (EVV).
What we’re trying to do with SOT is to stop the replication of the specific virus or bacteria we are targeting for treatment. If the target can no longer reproduce in the body, then ongoing life cycles of the virus or bacteria are eliminated.
When you visit us at Nashville Regenerative Orthopedics you will receive a full consultation and evaluation so that your tailored treatment plan can be established.
SOT therapy contains small oligonucleotides which “match” the specific sequence of individual genes of the Lyme bacteria species, co-infection bacteria, or virus that we are targeting to kill. SOT functions as a “molecular hit-man” in that it is constantly searching out and targeting the Lyme species or virus.
The Lyme bacteria and viruses constantly send out signals to replicate themselves. The SOT molecules block that message and cause the bacteria or virus cells to self-destruct, therefore it causes cell death of the Lyme bacteria or virus that we are treating. It works 24/7 and does not decrease in efficacy during the (up to) 6 months that it works. So, we can “turn off” the replication cycle of Lyme disease, Lyme co-infections, and viruses.
Because we do not want an over-accumulation of these SOT molecules to occur, we only use 3 doses (in an IV infusion) per a 12-month period, or every 4 months.
SOT therapy has been shown to be effective for many species of viral and Lyme disease. This methodology has been used in Europe for more than 10 years now. Thousands have had their lives changed for the better with this therapy.
HSV1, HSV2, VZV, EBV (Epstein Barr), HPV (16 & 18), HBV, HCV, HIV, Coxsackie (Type A & B).
Borrelia burgdorferi, Borrelia garinii, Borellia bissettiae, Borrelia bavariensis, Candidatus Borrelia tachyglossi, Borrelia valaisiana, Borrelia afzelii, Borrelia finlandensis, Babesia microti, Babesia bigemina, and Babesia duncani.
SOT is NOT a genetic therapy. It is not immunotherapy. It does not use drugs. The RGCC lab that we use to make the SOT uses the analysis of each individual’s blood sample to generate the individualized SOT.
It is done intravenously, and an appointment takes about 90 minutes.

Stem Cell Therapy Process
Our expert physicians will meet with you by phone or in-person to review your medical history and will determine if you’re a good candidate for stem cell therapy. If we agree stem cell therapy can help, we’ll schedule your first appointment in our office.
In most cases our outpatient treatment takes 2-4 hours and is nearly pain free. You do not have to “go under.” On the day of your procedure, our physicians will collect your stem cells. Fat is obtained from the low back or abdomen, bone marrow is obtained from the back part of the hip. After stem cell collection, you will relax in a private room. Once processed, your stem cells will be injected into the area of need using a highly sophisticated ultrasound instrument with enhanced needle visualization for precise delivery of your stem cells. In some cases, we also administer an IV of your stem cells during treatment to further enhance your body’s natural healing process.
There is virtually no recovery time from your stem cell therapy procedure. Most people are back to work the following day.
Physical Therapy - NRO has partnered with several physical therapist providers specifically trained in therapy following regenerative treatments. The combination of regenerative medicine and physical therapy to correct biomechanical imbalances offers patients an empowering way to take control of their lives.
Our medical staff will remain in touch with you during your recovery process to answer questions.
Patients who are considered to be candidates will be invited for a consultation with one of our panel physicians. Treatment cost varies depending on the disease state being treated and which type of stem cell deployment is required.
